One of my dream jobs is to cook staff food full time for a really high salary. Unfortunately that’s not a thing 🥲 The reason I put it on a piedestal is because how much I value a really well cooked, energising meal myself, which is also a fantastic moral booster. 

I am extremely grateful for every lunch my work aunties have cooked for me and with that in mind I’m doing something different for the next 3 weeks. From Thursday to Saturday, starting Friday the 30th, Swilipino will be running lunch service at Zao an Cafe located in the ESEA community center cafe in Dalston (don’t confuse this with the lunch club hosted by the Jennies). The vibe will be hugs on a plate or in a bowl, nothing particularly fancy - just highly satisfying. No bookings, just come by between 11-3PM!
